QLD Community Donation

One Stop Warehouse together with Suntech and SAJ Solar is donating solar panels, inverters, racking and electrical parts to The Fassifern Sports Club and The Rim FM Station. We will be sharing footage and images once the installation is complete.  

Australia has been going through a lot, first with the bush fires and now with the COVID-19 and we thought that it was time to help worthy organisations with something we are truly passionate about which is delivering solar and renewable energy. As Australia’s largest solar distributor, we decided to donate these solar systems to help the community save money on their ongoing electricity bills.

What is the value of the Suntech solar panels and SAJ Electric inverter?

The total value for the system was approx $16,000.

The solar system for The Rim FM station was approx $5,600. The solar system for The Fassifern Sports Club was approx $9,600.

And we expect the system to continue generating renewable, clean and green electricity for many years to come.

How much solar energy can these solar systems produce?

The Rim FM station system is receiving 24 Suntech 275W solar modules and a SAJ 5K inverter, the annual output is approx 9488 kWh.

For the Fassifern Sports Club sports centre, the system is made with 43 Suntech 275W solar panels and a SAJ 8k inverter. The annual output is approx 15184 kWh.

These solar systems will help the communities because:

• they won't be using as much electricity from the grid;
• any excess energy their system generates can be fed back into the grid to offset the power bill;
• quality solar systems like these add to the property's market value

We expect these organisations will enjoy the benefits of many years of solar energy generation from this donation.
