Strengthening Global Collaboration
During the event, Chairman Jin Baofang shared JA Solar’s vision: “Developing solar energy to benefit all humanity.” He emphasized the importance of partnering with OSW, noting OSW’s rapid global expansion as a critical step in realizing JA Solar's vision. Jin also pointed out that the current cooling cycle in the PV industry may last longer than previous periods, underlining the need for leading brands and enterprises to strengthen their cooperation to mitigate risks and safeguard long-term customer interests.
Anson Zhang, CEO of OSW, reflected on the successful five-year collaboration between the two companies, which has established JA Solar as one of the top two photovoltaic manufacturers in the Australian distribution market. This partnership has not only enhanced their positions in the PV industry but has also expanded their reach into European markets, marking a significant step towards internationalization. Zhang expressed his commitment to advancing the collaboration, envisioning greater contributions to the global clean energy wave and broader development opportunities for both companies.
Delivering 1GW for Global Markets
Under the agreement, JA Solar will supply 1GW of PV modules to OSW from 2025 to 2027. These modules will support OSW’s residential and small-to-medium commercial PV energy solutions across Australia, Europe, and the United States. As Australia's largest clean energy solutions provider, OSW has consistently led the distributed PV market, achieving over 1.1GW in annual installations and maintaining its number-one market share for six consecutive years.
Driving Sustainability Together
This partnership marks a new milestone in the collaboration between JA Solar and OSW, representing a shared commitment to driving global sustainability initiatives. Moving forward, the two companies will deepen their cooperation, explore new opportunities in the PV industry, and deliver more efficient and reliable clean energy solutions to customers worldwide.
